These workshops are run throughout the year in Johannesburg and Cape Town. If, however, at least 10 delegates indicate an interest, we will schedule additional workshops and travel to groups if they are large enough.
2. DVD Sessions (FREE)
We have managed to source a number of fantastic DVDs for 2010. There is no cost to these sessions and it is a great way to network, relax and learn.
2010 DVDs include:
- ‘Career Counselling’ by Prof Mark Savickas
- Strategy topic (2 DVDs): ‘The Dinokeng Scenarios – 3 futures for South Africa’ and ‘Implementing Strategy – Managing through organizational culture’
- ‘Restless Minds, Restless Kids’ by C.K. Conners, Ph.D. and J.S. March, M.D.
- ‘Preventing Burnout in Your Organization’ by Prof Christina Maslach (to be shown at the 2010 PsySSA Conference)
3. Discussion Groups (FREE)
A CPD discussion group where we discuss topical issues, have heated debates, share case studies and learn from each other. Another free networking opportunity for those who like to ‘talk things out’. The topics will be set by the participants, but may include areas such as the Legends of Psychology, Raven news, etc.
Please note that our 2009 CPD offering was accredited with CEUs. Official notification of the point status for 2010 is still pending from the HPCSA CPD Committee.
